We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated 2nd Line Support Technician to join our team, serving a prestigious client based in the picturesque Cotswolds. This role offers a unique chance to work in a stunning location, providing top-tier support to a renowned organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivering 2nd line technical support to our distinguished client, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.
  • Collaborating closely with 1st line support and other IT teams to escalate and resolve complex technical problems.
  • Maintaining and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Providing expert guidance and training to end-users to enhance their technical skills and knowledge.
  • Documenting and tracking all support activities, ensuring detailed and accurate records.



About You

  • Experience providing technical support at a 2nd line level or at a 1st line level demonstrating you’re ready for more!
  • Experience of Microsoft server operating systems and technologies, user management through AD 
  • Knowledge of ITIL, incident, problem and change management
  • Ability to understand and operate to the standards of Cyber Essentials for IT Security.
A degree in an IT related field or comparable technical certifications are advantageous.
