Are you a highly skilled and motivated team member looking to make a significant impact in the IT field? We are seeking an IT Support Officer to join our IT team to deliver the efficient and robust IT services delivery within an organisation.


The role

As an IT Support Officer, you will be at the heart of our IT operations, providing crucial support to the IT Manager and the wider IT Team. The role will involve maintaining and coordinating the IT portfolio plan, managing demand and capacity planning, and producing the IT Team performance pack using data from multiple sources.

You will track and maintain IT assets in hardware and software and ensure accuracy of list in collaboration with IT Operations and IT Security teams.

You will assist in managing the IT budget, including raising and receipting purchase orders (POs) and resolving related queries. You would also support the IT Manager with supplier and contract management and provide detailed reports on supplier performance based on KPIs.

You will also coordinate resource planning, support audit activities, and monitor software usage data to aid in tendering processes. In the absence of the IT Manager, you will step in to ensure continuity of management within the IT Team.

This is a hybrid role and will be based in our Birmingham or London office 1 to 2 days a week, and from home the rest of the week.
