About the Role:

Coordinates the work of IT professionals, subject matter experts and business partners to deliver technology capabilities and technology lifecycle requirements. Responsible for leading, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing on technology-related projects to include accountability for the entire scope, project team, resources and success or failure of projects

What You Will Do:

• Defines project goals, scope, activity planning and sequencing, and resource planning.
• Develops schedules while estimating required time, cost estimate and budget.
• Develops project related documentation which may include creating charts and schedules, monitoring and reporting project progress.
• Manages project-related risks and issues, and identifies specific needs or changes for appropriate resolution plans; ongoing communication with project executive sponsor and stakeholders. 
• Communicates project objectives in a persuasive manner that builds support, agreement and commitment; takes actions that directly or indirectly influence others to buy-in, gain trust and motivate others while maintaining good working relationships. 
• Establishes and ensures appropriate governance functions for projects in accordance with enterprise policies, practices and on behalf of the executive sponsor or senior responsible owner. 
• Manages project scope creep and escalates project and timeline risks. 
• Directs the creation and maintenance of required program documentation and artifacts.
• Experience leading large information technology and/or information security projects as a technical project manager or equivalent is required.
• Experience in executing all phases of the project lifecycle and understanding of project management methodologies is required. Industry-recognized project management certification is preferred.
