Position Summary:The primary job function is to oversee various system projects of a highly complex nature.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
- Oversees the assembling project team, assigns individual responsibilities, identifies appropriate resources needed, and develops schedules to ensure timely completion of project.
- Must be familiar with the system scope and project objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member to effectively coordinate the activities of the team.
- Communicates with Senior Project Manager and/or Functional Area Manager regarding status of specific projects.
- Regular attendance at work on a full-time schedule of at least 8 hours and 40 hours per week
- Other functions may be assigned
Qualifications
Education:
- Successful completion of a 4 year degree in a directly-related area such as Business Management or Computer Science
Experience:
- 3 - 5 years of directly-related experience in the of project management, resource management and/or project assessment techniques; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Marketing experience and PPM tools such as Monday.com, Clarity, Planview is preferred.
Skills & Abilities:
Preferred:
- Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle
- Proficient in defining and prioritizing delivery activities Proficient in developing project charter and schedules Ability to effectively manage project risks and issues
- Ability to manage project organization, meetings, estimations and cost control
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work cooperatively and successfully with other project team members without interpersonal or team conflicts
- Ability to effectively communicate risks and issues that may impact employees ability to perform job functions and meet expectation
- Ability to provide coaching and career development to team members Ability to solve problems by using a logical and systematic approach Knowledge of financial tools and processes
