We are looking for a IT Product Owner to join our Agricultural Solutions team remotely.

As an IT Product Owner, you will collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document comprehensive end-to-end business requirements, including personas, process flows, data needs, and edge cases, which is essential for aligning new requirements with team capacity and priorities, as well as reporting performance to stakeholders. Additionally, you will translate these business requirements into technical solutions to effectively guide IT delivery while providing technical expertise and consultation to the Product Team.

  • Leading/owning delivery of projects/products ensure on-time, on-quality delivery of business value.
  • Facilitating productive team meetings, fostering equal participation through open communication to promote collaboration and innovation.
  • Partnering with business stakeholders to solicit and document end-to-end business requirements including personas, process flows, data requirements and edge cases.
  • Taking ownership of providing technical expertise, consultation, and guidance to the Product Team. 
  • Discovering, documenting, and coordinating technical dependencies across a complex enterprise system landscape including data ingestion and transformation processes
  • Providing mentorship and guidance to ensure successful implementation, offering training or coaching for enhanced collaboration.    

If you have...

  • A Bachelor´s degree in computer science or an equivalent.
  • 8 years of work experience within software development/implementation
  • Experience in internal or external Stakeholder Management.
  • Extensive experience in end-to-end software development project leadership, architecture, and solutions.
  • Leadership experience within agile organizations including facilitating agile ceremonies, project and capacity planning.
  • Partnering with business stakeholders to solicit and document end-to-end business requirements including personas, process flows, data requirements and edge cases.
  • Aligning new requirements with team capacity, priorities, and report team performance to stakeholders.    
  • Understanding and translating business requirements into technical solutions in order to effectively lead IT delivery. 
  • Taking ownership of providing technical expertise, consultation, and guidance to the Product Team.

Pay transparency

 

BASF is committed to pay transparency practices. The competitive Pay Range for this role is $111,200 - $152,900 Actual pay will be determined based on education, certifications, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
