We are seeking a Founding IT Manager to build and lead our IT operations from the ground up. This is a foundational role, offering the opportunity to shape the company's IT strategy, implement scalable systems, and create a seamless tech experience for our growing team. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on—ready to drive key IT initiatives while providing direct support to employees.

You will…

💻 Establish and maintain a robust IT infrastructure, managing company hardware and software across MacBooks, iMacs, Windows desktops, and mobile devices.

🔧 Develop and oversee IT systems, optimizing configurations, automating workflows, and integrating tools to improve efficiency.

👨‍💻 User Support & IT Operations – Act as the primary IT resource, providing hands-on technical support, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring a seamless employee experience.

🔐 Security & Compliance – Build and enforce security policies, manage user access controls, and protect company data against cyber threats and compliance risks.

🚀 IT Strategy & Growth – Develop the IT roadmap, scale infrastructure to support company growth, and evaluate new technologies to enhance operations.

🛠️ Vendor & Budget Management – Select, negotiate, and manage IT vendors, ensuring cost-effective solutions and strategic partnerships.

📚 Documentation & Process Development – Create and maintain IT policies, procedures, and best practices to streamline operations and support future scaling.

You have…

💡 Proven experience in IT management or advanced IT administration experience, preferably in a startup environment.

🏗️ Founding mindset – comfortable building from scratch, solving ambiguous problems, and taking full ownership of IT functions.

🖥️ Proven expertise in IT infrastructure, system administration, and user support.

💻 Strong knowledge of macOS, Linux, and iOS operating systems.

🛠️ Proficiency in device management, software access management, G Suite administration, and Google Workspace tools.

🧩 Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

📊 Ability to work independently, set priorities, and drive IT initiatives forward.
