We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead and oversee our internal IT systems, asset management, procurement, and compliance efforts. This person will be instrumental in shaping and executing our technical roadmap, ensuring business continuity, and maintaining robust IT systems that support the company's growth and compliance needs.

Success in this role looks like:

  • Leading the IT team to consistently meet strategic goals and handle daily operational tasks effectively.
  • Ensuring IT systems maintain 100% compliance with PCI and SOC2 standards, with no audit findings.
  • Developing and executing a technical roadmap that reduces reactive work by 30% through project work and automation.
  • Achieving at least 10% cost savings over the next software renewal cycle through effective negotiations or accurately scoping license counts.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead and Mentor the IT Team: Guide and support the IT team, fostering continuous improvement and teamwork to meet organizational goals.
  • Develop and Manage the Technical Roadmap: Build and execute the roadmap for internal systems, ensuring alignment with business goals, compliance needs, and preparation for future cloud infrastructure changes.
  • Ensure IT Security, Data Protection, and Compliance: Implement security best practices to protect data and keep internal systems in line with SOC2, PCI, and other compliance standards.
  • Support Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity (BCP): Ensure that internal systems align with our DR and BCP requirements to maintain operational resilience.
  • Manage IT Asset Management (ITAM): Ensure active tracking and accurate state of all deployed user endpoints, including reporting and lifecycle management for software license usage and hardware status.
  • Oversee Procurement and Vendor Management: Manage software and hardware procurement, negotiate contracts, and control costs through proactive vendor management and software renewal strategies.
  • Forecast and Manage IT Projects: Plan and track the team’s workload, focusing on consistent progress in the IT backlog and delivering projects on time.
  • Collaborate Across Teams for System Integration: Work with other departments to ensure seamless integration, ongoing compliance, and efficient operation of internal systems.
  • Implement and Enforce IT Policies: Maintain and uphold IT policies and systems that support security, efficiency, and compliance across the organization.
  • Monitor and Optimize IT Systems: Regularly check and optimize internal systems to reduce manual tasks, improve automation, and ensure high availability and performance.

The salary for this position is $125,000 - $175,000. We may be open to negotiating outside of this range if the desired salary aligns with the needs of the candidate and the company.

Requirements

Preferred Skills

  • Strong leadership and team management experience in IT.
  • Proven experience managing SOC2 and PCI compliance, with a focus on maintaining continuous alignment.
  • Hands-on experience with IT asset management (ITAM), software license tracking, and procurement.
  • Familiarity with incident response processes and aligning systems with business continuity planning (BCP).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive and detail-oriented approach.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and prioritize multiple projects to drive consistent progress.

Technical requirements

  • Must have access to a wired internet connection
  • Must have access to at least a 25 megabits per second (mbps) download and 20 mbps upload speed connection
