Position Description:

We are looking for an experienced IT Manager to oversee a team of geographically dispersed engineers that are responsible for the infrastructure delivery and construction of our distribution centers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all IT-related aspects of distribution center projects, from planning and design to implementation and support. This role requires strong project management skills, technical expertise in IT infrastructure, and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders to ensure the successful deployment of IT systems in new and existing distribution centers.

 

You will report to the Senior Manager of Infrastructure.

 

 

Pay: 

This position is salaried and will pay between $93800.00 - $156400.00 with a target bonus of 15%.

You Will:

· Project Management:

  • Lead IT infrastructure projects for the construction and expansion of distribution centers, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and manage resources to ensure the successful delivery of IT infrastructure.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and vendors to manage the design, implementation, and testing of IT systems.

· Infrastructure Design and Implementation:

  • Oversee the delivery and installation of network, server, and communication infrastructure in distribution centers.
  • Work closely with construction teams to integrate IT infrastructure into the physical design and layout of distribution centers.

·  Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with operations, logistics, and construction teams to align IT infrastructure with business needs and operational requirements.
  • Serve as the primary IT point of contact for distribution center construction projects, providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of IT services.

·  Security and Compliance:

  • Ensure that all IT infrastructure complies with corporate security policies and industry regulations.
  • Implement robust security measures, including firewalls, access controls, and monitoring systems, to protect distribution center IT assets.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential security vulnerabilities.

·  Budget Management:

  • Manage IT infrastructure budgets for distribution center projects, ensuring cost-effective delivery of IT services.
  • Track and report on project expenses, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.

You Have:

  • 5-7 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with a focus on distribution centers, logistics, or industrial environments.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information technology or Engineering related disciplines, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale IT projects, particularly in the design and construction of infrastructure for new facilities.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure components, including networking, servers, storage, and security systems.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices for IT infrastructure in distribution and logistics environments.
  • Experience with budget management and cost control in large-scale IT projects.
