IT Manager (Remote in the US)

The Manager of IT is responsible for supporting all functions related to Information Technology. This includes leading and managing the implementation of all IT initiatives to support the needs of the department which includes but is not limited to Systems, Network management and security, Server, Infrastructure, Support desk, maintaining and updating IT policies and procedures, creating IT training, and working with the training staff, Risk Management, Incident Response/Recovery, and Compliance. In addition, this role will assist the successful onboarding of Clients, providing insight and guidance on best practices, creating efficiencies, and streamlining processes to enhance the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Information Technology – Responsible for providing innovative vision, strategy, and leadership in the use of technology planning, development, and support. Accountable for the overall management and success of the IT Department.

  • Recommends and develops short and long-term IT strategy and plans for systems implementation and integration, IT service management and operations to accomplish department objectives.
  • Ensures timely, effective use of technology to support department goals/needs.
  • Manages all hardware and software license agreements, communication agreements and vendor contracts.
  • Recommend, deliver, and support technologies and services that meet current needs, and evolve strategies to meet future needs.
  • Track and communicate performance of all IT services delivered, from projects to daily operations
  • Manage small group of employees to drive process improvement to support the delivery of excellent service.
  • Proactively recommends security improvements by monitoring security environment; identifying security gaps; evaluating and implementing enhancements.
  • Updates job knowledge by tracking and understanding emerging IT practices and standards; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Develop or update tools, systems, and processes to accommodate for onboarding clients.
  • Ensure all IT systems and processes are functioning as expected prior to go-live.

Corporate & HIPAA Compliance – Enforce and update policies and procedures to ensure that the organizations practices remain observant to all pertinent local, state/county, and federal laws as well as meeting HIPAA & OIG guidelines and recommendations for third-party billing companies.

New Hire & Continuous Training – Participate in the onboarding process and training of newly hired employees while contributing to the ongoing training material for current employees.

  • Update new hire systems training plan to incorporate new processes, and systems. Ensure that training is meaningful and sets up the employee for success.
    • Work to keep training program vibrant, entertaining, and engaging.
    • Create IT manuals, SOP’s (System of Processes) and training materials. 
    • Develop and deliver continuous communication to employees in the forms of awareness, training, and education.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Information Systems 
  • 5+ years of Management Experience
  • Experience leading team of 4+
  • Project management experience 
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills

Compensation:

  • Pay:  $108,784 - $173,680 annually. Compensation depends on location, qualifications, and experience.         
  • Position may be eligible for an Annual Incentive Plan bonus of 10%-25% depending on role level. 
  • Management level positions may be eligible for sign-on and relocation bonuses
