IT Director, Source to Pay & Treasury Technology

What you will do

In this vital role you will be the technology owner and client-facing lead for solutions driving capabilities for Amgen's Source to Pay (S2P) and Treasury value streams. As a leader within our global Digital, Technology, and Innovation team, this role will flex those creative muscles to guide a large portion of our finance technology investment strategy and drive technology delivery in an agile fashion. Key Responsibilities

  • Providing strategic leadership and oversight for Source to Pay & Treasury capabilities
  • Collaborating with business partners to co-create business value through use of technology; key stakeholder groups include Global Procurement, Treasury, Operations, and Commercial
  • Owning end-to-end service delivery under the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) for Source to Pay (S2P) and Treasury technologies. Enabling product teams include Source to Contract, Purchase Requisition to Order, Supply Chain Collaboration, and Invoice to Settle
  • Leading a Finance Cloud Platform product team that provides key enablement services to other product teams that support the broader CFO organization
  • Accountability for driving cross-functional governance to ensure executive alignment of technology investments for Global Procurement and Treasury. This includes active relationship-building, manage project budgets, and engagement with leadership at VP and ED levels
  • Driving execution of initiatives with Board of Director visibility such as SAP S/4HANA
  • Making key decisions on development of a S2P and Treasury "City Plan", including oversight of delivery and overall product quality

Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree and 4 years of Information Technology experience

Or

Master’s degree and 8 years of Information Technology experience

Or

Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of Information Technology experience

In addition to meeting at least one of the above requirements, you must have at least 4 years experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs, or directing the allocation or resources. Your managerial experience may run concurrently with the required technical experience referenced above

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Outstanding communication skills and experience partnering with Executive Director or VP level business leaders to drive strategic decisions
  • Solid background of managing and developing technology talent
  • Experience leading digital transformation initiatives within an integrated Financial ecosystem, preferably working with the following technologies: SAP ECC or S/4HANA core platform, SAP Materials Management, SAP Treasury & Risk Management, SAP Financial Supply Chain Management, Ariba, Sirion Labs, FIS Quantum, banking integrations.
  • Experience leading cross-functional technologists in an agile operating model
  • Experience managing ERP platforms operations, including development and integrations
  • Domain expertise in one or more of the following areas: supplier management, contract lifecycle management, purchase requisition to order, invoice to settle, treasury management

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
