Role Summary

Responsible for technology categories to support Facilities Technology, the Total Cost of Ownership and Software Asset Management teams, and technology infrastructure for Technology Services supporting a Sr. Category Manager with accountability for all infrastructure at T. Rowe Price (approximately $50 million spend). Owns global spend and relationships across the categories.

Responsibilities:

•             Works with technology and facilities business units to understand and document requirements needed to make business decisions regarding sourcing. Generates consensus between internal stakeholders with differing perspectives.

•             Owns spend and supplier relationships for assigned categories. Recommends sourcing strategies to develop annual savings for assigned categories.

•             Researches and tracks potential and existing suppliers. Conducts quality assessments and vendor scorecards.

•             Applies in-depth understanding of the marketplace and suppliers, as well as market trends and best practices for assigned category.

•             Oversees contracts for assigned categories that may have a number of nonstandard elements or terms.

Typical Qualifications:

•             Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND

•             5+ years of total relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

•             Experience in the Financial Services Industry Technology Sourcing space is preferred.

•             Past experience working closely with a Software Asset Management and Total Cost of Ownership functional organization is preferred.

•             Expertise in ideating and delivering on hard-dollar cost reductions in the Technology Contracting space is preferred.

•             Familiarity with Sourcing / Contracting Facilities Technology is preferred.

•             Global Procurement experience is preferred, but not required.

FINRA Requirements:  FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.

Work Flexibility:  This role is eligible for remote work up to two days a week OR as a fully remote role (subject to the firm’s Telework policy).

REGIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Wage Transparency Disclosure* -

Minimum salary (USD) starts at $91,500.

The salary range for this role, based on experience, is $91,500- $156,500 Annually.

*Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual’s relevant experience and skills for the role. Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance. Salary range disclosure as required by sb19-085 when hiring in Colorado, S9427A when hiring in New York, SB 1162 when hiring in California, and SB 5761 when hiring in the State of Washington.
