PRIMARY PURPOSE
To create and modify moderate complex software programs to meet the desired business need; to help troubleshoot application issues while working with the business and researching support items
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serves as IT Applications Associate for assigned projects if applicable.
- Assists in performing moderately complex development of data and system.
- Assists in performing all development tasks required to ensure the accuracy of each software program within the specified timeframes.
- Works closely with management on assigned projects from inception through implementation ensuring adequate internal communication and user involvement is maintained.
- Develop client and customer needs as required; assists in the requirement process, development, unit testing of simple to moderately complex code.
- Proactively obtains information needed for the successful development of software programs.
- Programs and tests .Net core, JavaScript, C#, CSS, & SQL Server development changes
- Completes required development as needed to provide a full and clear history of development and changes.
- Assists in investigating issues and developing resolution in a timely manner with a technical author.
- Follows pre-established departmental standards and guidelines as they pertain to design and development; adheres to the goal of delivering and maintaining the highest quality of customer service to our clients.
- Provides feedback and suggestions to improve process to IT management/Team Lead.
- Works closely with project managers to meet and complete project milestones accurately and on time.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Supports the organization's quality program(s).
- Travels as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Licensing
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred. Major in information systems or computer science preferred. Language development courses in a relevant and applicable language and/or business analytical experience preferred. Education in the development of application software.
Experience
Two (2) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Specific knowledge of .NET development, ASP.net, C#, JavaScript, CSS, & database such as SQL Server, Oracle, or any other relational database.

As required by law, Sedgwick provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in jurisdictions requiring pay transparency in job postings. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and cost of specific location. For the jurisdiction noted in this job posting only, the range of starting pay for this role is ( 55,570.00 - 77,798.00 - 100,025.00 USD Annual ). A comprehensive benefits package is offered including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, 401k and matching, PTO, disability and life insurance, employee assistance, flexible spending or health savings account, and other additional voluntary benefits.
Work environment requirements for entry-level opportunities include –
