IS Project Manager - *Remote*

The IS Project Manager position manages one or more medium projects in Information Technology. They plan, organize, and guide teams to execute project tasks efficiently and cost-effectively, ensuring successful outcomes.

Essential functions:
Distributes project information and documentation using the established channels.
Demonstrates expertise in tailoring communication for various audiences and messages.
Develops and manages a comprehensive communication plan, including regular project status reports.
Proactively collaborates and motivates team members and vendors to ensure the project stays on track towards its objectives.
Actively observes project workflows, identifies bottlenecks or areas of inefficiency, and contributes to process improvement.
Manages the project scope, schedule, plan, budget and artifacts.
Monitors project progress by tracking task completion, managing the budget, updating project documentation, and maintaining project status reports.
Manages risks, issues and dependencies.
Provides leadership updates on risk and issues, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and steps are actively being taken to resolve the identified challenge. Develops solution and takes ownership of implementing chosen solution for identified problem, coordinating with the team and monitoring progress.
Identifies key stakeholders and understands their roles and interests in the project.
Anticipates and addresses stakeholder resistance or objections proactively.
Develops and maintains strong relationships with stakeholders based on trust and respect.
Proactively seeks feedback and is open to constructive criticism and uses it as a tool to identify areas for development and refinement of skills.

Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Business, Healthcare Administration, Clinical Operations or Information Technology Or equivalent educ/experience
- 3 years of Project management experience in healthcare, information technology, or other relevant industry or operations leading medium to large complex projects using PM methodologies and software. This includes experience with:
- Managing projects with multiple project teams, product development lifecycle, or quality lifecycle.
making formal and informal presentations to senior and executive management and key stakeholders. - Developing and modifying process standards and objectives to a project as appropriate.

Preferred qualifications:
- Coursework/Training and Project management methodologies
- Upon hire: Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or working towards completion.
- 3 years of working in the healthcare industry.
