Position Title: Internal Communications Specialist
Reports to: Director, Content Strategy

Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic Internal Communications Specialist to join our team, playing a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our company's internal communication channels, particularly our company intranet.
Key Responsibilities
Intranet Management:
Maintain, update, and develop new sections and features on the company intranet, ensuring all content is current, relevant, and accessible.
Collaborate with IT and other departments to troubleshoot and improve intranet functionality.
Corporate Communications:
Draft, edit, and distribute internal communications, including company updates, announcements, newsletters, and memos, ensuring consistent messaging and tone.
Work with leadership to craft communications that align with company goals and culture.
Content Creation:
Develop engaging content for internal audiences, including written, visual, video, and multimedia content.
Coordinate with other departments to source and highlight success stories, best practices, and other content that supports a positive work culture.
Employee Engagement:
Design and implement virtual spaces and initiatives that encourage employee interaction, collaboration, and recognition.
Manage virtual kudos programs or similar initiatives to celebrate employee achievements and milestones.
Gather feedback from employees on communication tools and initiatives and make recommendations for improvements.
Forums and Leadership Interaction:
Coordinate ongoing virtual forums where employees can ask leadership anything, fostering transparency and open communication.
Organize and manage regular internal meetings for the leadership team, ensuring they are well-structured and effectively communicated.
Metrics and Reporting:
Track and report to leadership on the effectiveness of internal communication efforts, using analytics to guide improvements, focusing on engagement levels, communication reach, and other relevant metrics.
Quality Management System:
Support LLS’ Quality Management System (QMS) to continually improve the Division’s processes, procedures and services; and thereby increase efficiency, productivity, effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
The full-time annual salaries for this role is listed below, . Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within this location. Experience and education refers to LanguageLine Solutions’ current salary range for this position. US (Remote) pay range is $75,000 USD - $85,000 USD annually.
The actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in internal communications, content management, or a similar role.
Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and intranet software.
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
Excellent project management and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a remote setting.
Comfortable working directly with company leaders
Familiarity with virtual collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, Microsoft Teams) is a plus.
