This intern will contribute to Itron’s Business & Technology Partner Program, supporting internal and external program marketing. You will collaborate with corporate marketing, product marketing, digital marketing and creative services to help deliver cohesive program marketing solutions.

Intern must be available to work a hybrid schedule with remote flexibility and interest in being on-site at Itron’s Liberty Lake headquarters or Austin location. This is not a fully remote position.

Duties and & Responsibilities:

  • Support Developer Program / Technology Partner communications and marketing

    • Create and maintain program collateral, including website marketing content and unified digital presence for Developers and Technology partner program

    • Update existing Developer Portal to deliver streamlined user experience

    • Oversee developer website marketing content

    • Drive developers and technology partners to the Partner Relationship Manger (PRM) platform to elevate their presence in both Partner Locator and Solution Marketplace

    • Support unified digital presence for Developers and Technology partner program

    • Define minimum marketing asset requirements for Technology Partner Solution (resell and referral) Launch

    • Provide guidance to partners developing Solution Marketplace assets; review and approve assets

    • Support lead management to/from partners

    • Manage Organize and manage partner contacts

    • Support joint webinars and events

    • Support events  (Inspire, developer and smart city challenges)

  • Support Business Partner communications and marketing

    • Provide ad-hoc communications as necessary

    • Support joint marketing events and collateral

    • Support joint publications

  • Support Itron Partner Marketing internal communications and marketing

    • Collaborate on sales enablement materials

    • Support internal webcasts

    • Coordinate monthly Partner Spotlights

Duration: This internship is January 2025, part-time to start for spring term (20-25 hours/wk), full-time Summer 2025

Required Skills & Experience

  • Education: Enrolled in a related degree or training program, with completion of at least two years of coursework (preference for marketing, communications, digital marketing)

  • Professional workplace communication skills

  • Able to solve problems and track down information

  • Comfortable taking initiative to communicate with stakeholders

  • Intermediate proficiency using Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

  • Available to work 20-25 hours/week, beginning January 2025

Physical Demands: This is a typical office job, with no special physical requirements or unusual work environment.

Liberty Lake, WA hourly wage: minimum wage - $44.23
