The HealthEquity Intern program aims to provide accomplished students the opportunity to develop their skills while supporting the Company’s strategic objectives. Candidates are able to gain real-world experience applying their classroom learnings in a dynamic business environment. They receive coaching and mentoring from an experienced people leader who directs their work and helps ensure their success. HealthEquity interns get the opportunity to sit down with HealthEquity leadership and guest speakers. This speaker series includes our CEO Scott Cutler, our Founder Steve Neeleman, and leaders with expertise in finance, wellbeing, and recruiting.
The Salesforce Business Analyst Intern will play a key role in documenting and mapping the current Salesforce system functionality and its integrations with other IT systems. This position will require strong analytical skills, technical curiosity, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Come gain valuable experience in a real-world Salesforce environment and develop technical documentation skills that are highly sought after in the industry. Work closely with experienced Salesforce professionals in an opportunity that will contribute to a critical project and make a tangible impact.
What you’ll be doing
- Collaborate with Salesforce administrators and developers to understand and document existing Salesforce functionalities.
- Create and maintain functional documentation, including user stories, process flows, configuration guides, and training materials.
- Document custom objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, and other Salesforce configurations.
- Ensure documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible to end-users.
- Organize and structure documentation for optimal readability and searchability.
- Participate in meetings to gather information and clarify requirements.
- Assist in the creation of training materials and user guides.
- Potentially contribute to user acceptance testing (UAT) by documenting test cases and results.
- Proactively identify areas where documentation can be improved.
What you will need to be successful
- Currently pursuing a degree in [Relevant field, e.g., Information Systems, Business Administration, Technical Writing, or related field].
- Strong interest in technology and business processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to understand and explain complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
**Our program begins May 19th, 2025 and runs through August 8th, 2025.

Salary Range
$22-$24 per hourBenefits & Perks
This is a remote intern opportunity. The rate of pay is $22-$24 per hour and is eligible to receive an internet stipend.
As an intern, you can participate in wellness activities, receive a movement money stipend, and participate in our Purple with Purpose program where you are paid to volunteer hours working with a local organization of your choice.
