Intern - Financial Planning & Analysis

The Finance Intern will support all members of the Finance team through our team’s main functions; forecasts, weekly and month-end reporting and analysis, operational and management reporting, business analytics, trend analysis, and ad hoc analysis.  The ideal candidate for this position will have a desire to expand their knowledge of finance and analytics, enjoy working on complex and critical projects in a fast-paced environment, and work closely with multiple team members on a daily basis.

Key duties, responsibilities, and learning opportunities include:

• Complete a Finance focused project over the term of the internship based on experience gained from involvement in the following activities:
• Prepare, analyze, and summarize various financial reporting
• Understand forecast updates as compared to budget in different areas of the P&L
• Support team with month-end responsibilities: analysis of actuals presented in P&Ls, PowerPoints, and other various models
• Preparation of financial models with an integrated set of financial statements, assumptions, and metrics
• Support team and business with development and preparation of ad hoc analytics

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Sophomore (or higher) college level working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related Business field
• Desire to learn how to analyze key financial trends across the business
• Exhibit flexibility and willingness to take on new responsibilities and to assist with various ad hoc projects
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office – Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

P.F. Chang's Pay Range (based on experience): $41,241.20 - $54,997.80 / year

This position is non-exempt. The annual rate listed assumes 50 hours per week.
