Role Overview

As an Intern, Events, you support the execution of a variety of events, including webinars and educational events, trade shows, and internal gatherings. You work closely with the events team and cross-functional partners to ensure logistics run smoothly and help create experiences that reflect our company’s mission and values. You are eager to learn, highly organized, and ready to contribute to a dynamic team that’s dedicated to creating impact through events. Our team is passionate, empathetic, hard working, and above all else focused on improving the lives of our service professionals (our Pros). Our success is their success.

What you do each day:

  • Assist with coordinating logistics for upcoming events, such as booking vendors and preparing materials
  • Support on-site and virtual event setup and breakdown tasks
  • Help maintain and update event timelines and planning documents
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders to gather information and align on event needs
  • Track inventory and assist in ordering supplies for events
  • Collect and organize feedback from event attendees
  • Support post-event follow-up and reporting activities
  • Contribute to event marketing efforts, including drafting emails or social media posts
  • Learn and apply company branding guidelines to event materials
  • Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools (i.e., Google Docs, Sheets)
  • Interest in event planning, coordination, or marketing
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and stay organized

Location Dependent Information

This role is open to candidates and the expected compensation for this role is $20/hour. The specific hourly rate for the successful candidate will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. Housecall Pro is growing fast and we’re scaling our team to help enable and accelerate our growth.
