Position Overview 

At Autodesk, one team manages brand social media that includes creative campaigns, community management, influencer marketing, and event support. We are looking for a Brand Social Media Analyst Intern to join our Social Media Marketing team. The intern will play a critical role in analyzing social media data, supporting content performance evaluation, and helping drive data-driven decisions. This internship offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in social media analytics and marketing strategy while working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.  

Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis: Assist in how we monitor and track performance metrics across various social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube). 

  • Performance Reporting: Assist in preparing regular reports and presentations on social media metrics, trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the team. 

  • Social Listening: Assist in how we conduct social listening and sentiment analysis to identify trending topics, potential opportunities, and areas for improvement. 

  • Content Analysis: Support the analysis of content engagement (e.g., likes, shares, comments) and user behavior to determine what drives the best results. 

  • Competitor Research: Assist in monitoring competitors’ social media strategies, providing insights into industry trends and benchmarking performance. 

  • Campaign Support: Work with the social media team on campaign execution and optimization based on data insights. 

  • Ad Hoc Projects: Participate in various marketing projects that involve data collection, insights generation, and strategy development. 

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be currently enrolled in a full-time, degree seeking program with an expected graduation date of December 2025 or later 

  • Majoring in Marketing, Business, Communications, Data Analytics, or a related field

  • Growing analytical skills and proficiency with tools such as Excel, Google Analytics, or other analytics platforms

  • Familiar with social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.) and their native analytics tools

Salary Transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience, educational level, and geographic location, and can exceed this range.

For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting annualized intern base salary to be between:

  • $47,840 and $95,680 (undergraduate students)
  • $72,800 and $118,500 (Masters/MBA students)
  • $118,560 and $162,240 (PhD students)
