The HealthEquity Intern program aims to provide accomplished students the opportunity to develop their skills while supporting the Company’s strategic objectives. Candidates are able to gain real-world experience applying their classroom learnings in a dynamic business environment. They receive coaching and mentoring from an experienced people leader who directs their work and helps ensure their success. HealthEquity interns get the opportunity to sit down with HealthEquity leadership and guest speakers. This speaker series includes our CEO Scott Cutler, our Founder Steve Neeleman, and leaders with expertise in finance, wellbeing, and recruiting.

 

The Associate Implementation Manager is the primary contact for the client and is responsible for, managing and coordinating a large volume of Healthequity product implementations. of the HealthEquity product portfolio Dduring peak open enrollment  times the Associate Implementation Manager can be responsible for execution and onboarding of up to 200+ clients.  Theis will includes new clients as well and existing clients adding new products and services.  The Associate Implementation Manager cCollaborates with internal partners (Sales, Technology teams, COBRA and speding account operation teams, Partner Managers, Relationship Management, Client Services, Member Services and Employer Service Delivery, etc.) and external stakeholders (employers, brokers, and Health plan partners) to coordinate and customize the implementation of HealthEquity products and services to meet and exceed client expectations. 

 

What you’ll be doing

  • Manages implementation projects for new and existing clients while ensuring ongoing communications, timelines, and deliverables the meeting client expectations 
  • Consult with client to define their benefit plans and structure a compliant and “best practice” benefit offering  
  • Educate and train s clients in how to manage, navigate their portals and plans and how that impacts the employee population 
  • Conduit and shief HealthEquity consultant between the client, their broker, and HealthEquity internal partners in defining and finding the right benefit solutions  
  • SME with all HealthEquity platforms and products including accurately documenting plan configuration requirements 
  • Responsible for documenting and supporting file configurations 
  • Guides internal team members in how to work with clients, and serves as SME about client implementation process, plan designs and options including funding and enrollment, as needed  
  • Accelerates company growth by helping increase efficiency of internal processes and consulting with clients to adopt best practices during the implementation phasethinking beyond the norm and contributing new ideas 
  • Supports teammates, serves as a sounding board for new ideas and questions, backing up other team members one another up as needed and helps, mentoring new team members 

What qualifications you need:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • 3-5 years of client service experience 
  • 1-3 years of experience with special projects, possesses project management skills and effective project tracking 
  • Always maintains a professional composure 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high stress and high-demand environment especially during peak times 
  • Multi-tasking ability with an attention to detail 
  • Capable to develop and maintain strong relationships 
  • Passionate and dynamic about making a difference for our clients in their health plans 
  • Adept at learning new products and services to deliver remarkable results consistently 
  • Ability to transition quickly to new responsibilities and changes in process 
  • Active listener, ability to ask probing questions and capable of influencing  
  • Effective in written and verbal communications, able to offer professional coaching to our clients on effective use of our online tools 
  • Capable to work independently, self-motivated and organized and can problem-solve complex problems 
  • Prioritizes to accomplish work in a timely and successful manner

**Our program begins May 19th, 2025 and runs through August 8th, 2025.

Salary Range

$22 per hour

This is a remote intern opportunity. The rate of pay is $22-$24 per hour and is eligible to receive an internet stipend.
