Intermediate Software Tester

Responsibilities
Peraton is currently seeking skilled and qualified candidates for our Intermediate Software Tester positions with the USPS TSS program. This position is 100% remote. This role will be responsible for formal software testing activities for complex software applications.
Day to Day Work Responsibilities:
- Reviews user requirements documentation; assists in development of test plans; develops test data to be used in performing tests; and transforms test plans into test scripts
- Ensures proper execution of test scripts and documentation of test results in tracking systems.
- Analyses test results, documents conclusions, and makes recommendations that are fully supported by test results
- Works on high-visibility programs, or mission critical aspects of assigned program(s).
- Performs formal software testing activities for complex software applications.
- Oversees the efforts of direct reporting resources and/or is responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job
Qualifications
Basic Qualifcations:
- Bachelor's degree with 5+ years experience, master's degree with 3+ years experience or high school diploma/GED with 9+ years experience.
- U.S. Citizenship (Must have resided in the U.S. past 5 years with no more than 6 months outside travel of the U.S. during this time frame).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
Logistics experience to help users and provide application support.
Knowledge/experience of Manual and automated test script writing and executing
Experience with Selenium testing tools
Experience with Unified Functional Testing (UFT) testing tools- Basic to advanced SQL (SQL developer) skills
- Basic UNIX skills
- Basic understanding of API callsExcellent Microsoft Suite skills
- Knowledge/experience with ALM.
- Change Management and Configuration Management (VersionOne, ServiceNow, etc.)

Target Salary Range
$66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors. ApplyJob Profile
