About the Client
Our client is a digital accounting firm specializing in providing general accounting services to SMEs in Wales. They are committed to delivering high-quality, technology-driven solutions while fostering strong client relationships. Their paperless practice leverages modern tools, including Go Proposal, Karbon, Xama, Active Workpapers, TaxCalc, Xero, Dext, and Inform Direct, to ensure seamless financial management.
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Intermeidate Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Xero, the ability to prepare accounts up to the trial balance stage, and a solid understanding of UK accounting principles and practices. Experience with UK payroll software and HMRC processes is preferred, as client onboarding and accountancy administration will be key aspects of the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage clients' financial records efficiently using Xero.
- Have working knowledge of UK payroll systems and software (HMRC knowledge is a plus).
- Lead the onboarding of new clients, ensuring a seamless experience.
- Prepare accounts up to the trial balance stage, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
- Utilize tools such as Dext, Xero, and Precision for financial data analysis and reporting.
- Collaborate with clients and team members to gather necessary financial information.
- Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements and tax returns.
