Interior Designer (Hybrid Remote)

Salary: $70,000 - 80,000/yearThis position allows for 2 days per week remote / work from home. We are seeking a talented and creative Commercial Interior Designer with expertise in AutoCAD and Rhino to join our dynamic design team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing innovative, functional, and aesthetically pleasing interior spaces for commercial projects. Your design solutions will align with the client’s brand, vision, and functional needs, while staying within budget and timeline constraints. As a key member of our design team, you will collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and other design professionals to deliver high-quality commercial spaces.

Responsibilities

• Lead design development for commercial interior projects, including space planning, concept design, and material selection.
• Create detailed and accurate 2D and 3D plans using AutoCAD and Rhino.
• Produce presentation materials, mood boards, and renderings to communicate design concepts to clients.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure design intent is maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and manage project documentation, including specifications, schedules, and drawings.
• Conduct site visits to ensure designs are implemented correctly and to assess existing conditions.
• Stay updated on design trends, materials, and technologies to incorporate innovative solutions into commercial interiors.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate interior designs with architectural and structural elements.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budgets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
• Proven experience as an Interior Designer, with a focus on commercial spaces (minimum 3 years preferred).
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Rhino, with the ability to create detailed drawings and 3D models.
• Proficiency in other design software (such as Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, Revit, or 3ds Max) is a plus.
• In-depth knowledge of commercial design standards, building codes, and sustainability practices.
• Excellent visual, spatial, and conceptual design skills.
