Integrations Analyst
Menlo Park, CA | Remote, US
- Manage integrations with partners such as retail customers, freight carriers, 3PL, suppliers, and manufacturers, and communicating risk & status succinctly to management, calling out key issues and presenting options for resolution.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure integrations and standardizations of data formats with our partners are maintained.
- Recommend process improvements to improve data quality, reduce business cycle times, and exchange of data between applications.
- Troubleshoot system applications and integrations, identify real or potential issues and then escalate to appropriate support personnel or third-party vendors.
- Assist in acceptance testing, create specifications for systems to meet business requirements and assure consistencies across all sites.
- Recommend controls by identifying problems and creating improved procedures.
- Participate and lead in the analysis of business processes and procedures to identify opportunities for improved efficiency.
- Partner with the engineering team on system stability, upgrades, support tasks and other appropriate concerns around overall system performance impacting the business.
- Support applications in production as a POC to ensure that they meet the needs of the business and work as designed.
- Support procedure and practice within the team to ensure that systems can be restored in a business recovery situation.
- Telecommute from anywhere in the U.S. permitted.
- Requires a Master’s degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field, and three years of work experience in job offered or a computer-related occupation. Experience must include three years of experience in the following:
- 1. Problem solving and analytical capabilities
- 2. Working with product features or specifications, manufacturing processes and the supply chain solutions in a consumer hardware space
- 3. Experience understanding customers/business requirements and building integration solutions
- 4. Interacting across internal and external groups and across multiple departments and functions
- 5. Navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple and competing work threads to maximizing impact and communication skills
- 6. Experience with EDI communications standards and protocols (AS2, standard VAN-based EDI, FTP, SFTP, HTTPS, and Web services)
- 7. Writing functional design documents, create/maintain EDI maps and specifications, troubleshooting complex EDI failures, working with external EDI partners, and testing interconnected systems
- 8. Producing various artifacts (BRD, Design Document, Test Cases, B2B/EDI Specifications, Launch/Cut-over plans, or Operations documents
- 9. Working with XML, JSON, and message formats
- 10. Working with ANSI X12 standards, including Order series documents, and working with XML, JSON formats
- 11. Demonstrated experience with writing functional design documents, troubleshooting complex EDI failures, unit testing, and end-end testing methods.
$184,706/year to $204,930/year + bonus + equity + benefits
Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
