Integration Engineer

Success in this role looks like:

  • This person will work within a team responsible for supporting partners through integration and Beta phases of our integrated process.   As an Individual contributor,  you will lead by example, and provide timely and accurate support to new and existing partners to help move them through our integration processes.  This team also provides support to our tech teams for escalated support situations as they arise. 

Core Responsibilities

  • Provide high-tier support to our partner’s developers by supporting their environments, languages, and unique coding practices
  • Manage and review releases of partner integrations
  • Create supporting documentation for all partner integrations and update as necessary
  • Collaborate with engineering to prioritize feature requests
  • Assist our customers, which include internal tech support and external partner/independent software vendors with escalated issues.
  • Ensure accountability for following team processes
  • Being available as a resource for coaching, shadowing, providing feedback 
  • Leading by example by actively representing and supporting Gravity’s culture and its core values

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarization with engineering coding structure and practices.  Able to generally read and understand code of various languages (C#, React, Swift, etc. (interpret not write)
  • Experience supporting a suite of integrated payment applications
  • Ability to work independently in an ambiguous environment
  • Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot issues with little documentation or pre-existing precedent
  • Able to make sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems.  
  • Take an active role in a high-performing team by embracing a collaborative work environment 
  • Prior experience in a consensus-driven, collaborative culture
  • Developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences 
  • Attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication
  • Prior experience in a climate where people have the clarity, capability, and license to do their best to help the organization achieve its goals and expand our community engagement.
  • Effectively builds formal and informal relationship networks inside and outside the organization.

The salary for this position is $80,000. We may be open to negotiating outside of this range if the desired salary aligns with the needs of the candidate and the company.
