Integration & Automation Lead
Menlo Park, CA | Remote, US
- Lead architecture and design of complex systems that cut across multiple domains of internal and external systems integrations in a highly collaborative cross-functional environment.
- Collaborate with Product management, Systems Engineering, and other cross-functional teams to assess viability of platforms, new product features, new processes and put together a systems architecture for integrations processes and systems internally and externally.
- Identify opportunities and technologies that improve process efficiency or user experience, develop a plan to validate and mature new technologies, and collaborate with cross-functional team to integrate new solutions.
- Collaborate with system program management to assess and develop project schedule and milestones as well as identify risks and mitigation plan.
- Optimize architecture for throughput, performance and data integrity.
- Drive resolution of technical issues by working with the cross-functional teams, such as Operational teams, Technology teams, CM/JDM partners and vendors.
- Track development and test progress toward implementation schedule, fix issues and drive changes to design based on resolution.
- Telecommute from anywhere in the U.S. permitted.
- Employer requires a Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field and 10 years of work experience in job offered or in a manufacturing, technical, or supply-related occupation.
- Experience must include 10 years of experience in the following:
- 1. Supply chain operations
- 2. EDI/API solutions
- 3. Ansi X12, EDIFACT, RosettaNET, JSON, and Avro
- 4. Transport protocols: REST, AS2, and SFTP
- 5. Supply chain functional areas: Assemble to Order, Build to Order, Build to Forecast-Ship to Order, Direct Ship, Drop Ship, Manufacturing Execution Systems, Systems Integration/EDI, Logistics and Trade Compliance, Order Management, Factory Planning and Scheduling, Manufacturing Quality, Product Data Management, and NPI
- 6. Databases and SQL
- 7. High-volume consumer electronics
- 8. Bringing new products to market
- 9. Building internal and external customer relationships and delivering business value.
