Clarity Partners is seeking a fully remote Integration Analyst to design, develop and maintain interface programs for the client using interface engine technology and HL7 standards. Responsibilities will include creating detailed specification documents; ensuring a robust and reliable Open Engine application in a UNIX/AIX environment; coordinating and executing test plans; automating processes using software tools and scripts; and managing system enhancements and upgrades.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to work independently and determine work priorities.
- Possesses a large knowledge of institutional and departmental systems and processes, both automated and manual, and understands how data flows between the systems and uses this knowledge to improve these systems 'or develop new systems.
- Utilizes a combination of programming and analytical skills to design and maintain application systems within the Health System
- Confers with users to analyze system needs.
- Evaluates alternatives and design specifications.
- Conducts feasibility studies.
- Exercises wide latitude ln choosing the best design to meet user's needs.
- Defines project time lines and works independently to ensure deadlines are met.
- Supervises and evaluates work of lower-level programmers and analysts.
- Designs, develops, maintains and enhances complex computer programs using multiple data file and database structures and integrated systems.
- Performs functions of a project manager and directs, monitors, and evaluates lower-level staff when appropriate.
- Evaluates hardware and software alternatives and exercises a wide latitude in choosing optimum solutions.
- May also meet with administrators and departmental managers to determine user needs.
- Develops change management processes with the user community or with software vendors.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Java programming and a strong understanding of Oracle 9i/PL SQL.
- 3 - 5 years of experience in programming interface engines with a focus on HL7 standards.
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or extensive experience in programming and system design.
- Considerable experience with hospital processes relating to automated computer systems.
Clarity is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For the Integration Analyst role, the base salary pay range is $90,000 - $123,000. The range represents a good faith estimate that Clarity reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of posting. Compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
