Integrated Service Delivery (ISD) T1 DevOps Engineer

Leidos is hiring an energetic, motivated, innovative individual to be a part of our team supporting Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) in Baltimore, MD. The Integrated Service Delivery (ISD) T1 DevOps Engineer works closely with the ISD team, ISD Manager and Tech Lead, to deliver technical solutions, and activities supporting applications in the ISD portfolio. The T1 DevOps Engineer uses strong communication and technical skills to resolve Operational and Maintenance related tasks. They also use strong interpersonal skills to build relationships within their team, the MiSP Program, CMS, and application customers. You will deliver technical solutions that ultimately ensure that the functions of Medicare, Medicaid, and Marketplace are carried out for the US citizen and contribute to efforts to reduce healthcare costs.
Your goal will be to work within your team and all stakeholders to help Leidos ensure delivery of high-quality, robust, and scalable solutions with minimal business impact. Lastly and most importantly, you will represent our program when meeting with the Application Development Organizations (ADO) and identify opportunities to provide support as well as modernization and innovation opportunities for their application.
The current work environment is remote leveraging various tools such as Slack, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Quickly diagnose and resolve system issues and outages to minimize impact. Work with other IT professionals to address complex problems.
- Monitor System Performance by regularly check system logs, CPU usage, memory usage, and network performance to ensure optimal functioning.
- Identify potential issues before they escalate by analyzing performance data and trends.
- Create, modify, and delete user accounts as needed.
- Install and configure operating systems, applications, and software updates.
- Plan and execute system upgrades to improve performance and functionality. Ensure compatibility and stability during and after upgrades.
- Resetting User Passwords.
- Supporting and identifying customer issues and needs by maintaining an excellent relationship with end-users and stakeholders.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by establishing and participating in feedback loops.
- Ability to work in AWS environments as well as on prem environments.
- Support deployments and other release activities.
- Weekend and on-call support as required.
- Application Profile updates to ensure data is always up to date and not outdated.
- Create, modify, and post documentation as required for the ISD.
Basic Qualifications:
- BS degree and 1+ years of prior relevant experience. Experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
- Knowledge of the Software Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Knowledge Of AWS environments.
- Configuration Management tools: Ansible, Terraform, GitHub.
- Efficient communication, zero handoff mentality.
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to adapt and be productive in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Self-starter, self-managed, and a team player.
- AWS Practitioner Certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- JIRA, Confluence, SNOW.
- Linux, zLinux, and Windows OS.
- Proven ability to work with challenging customers.
- Agile-based knowledge and skill, including experience with Scrum ceremonies and work management tools.
Required Clearance.
Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $55,250.00 - $99,875.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
