Overview:

Sentara Health is now Hiring an Integrated care Manager !

This is a Full-time Remote position

The primary responsibilities include reviewing HRIM coding, placing patients under observation care, and working closely with payers to determine the number of hours eligible for reimbursement. The focus is on ensuring that observation status is coded and billed appropriately based on payor criteria.

Population Focus: The role supports both inpatient and outpatient settings, with a primary focus on any cases under observation status. It involves evaluating inpatient and outpatient scenarios to determine observation eligibility and documentation accuracy.

Education

  • Diploma RN/ADN/BSN/MSN

Certification/Licensure

  • RN License - Virginia/Compact/Multistate
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days from hire

Experience

  • 3 years' experience RN
  • ideal candidate brings strong acute care experience (minimum 3 years preferred)
  • Case Management experience preferred
  • Demonstrates the following qualities : Detail- oriented & organized; Positive, solution focused mindset; adaptable demeanor.

    We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay rate for Full Time employment is:$76,731.20-$127,878.40Additional compensation may be available for this role such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
