Brown & Brown is seeking an Insurance Talent Acquisition Professional to join our growing team supporting Bridge Speciality Group, our Wholesale Division.

 

This experienced Talent Acquisition Professional is responsible for screening, sourcing, attracting, recruiting, and interviewing individuals to determine and recommend placement of ideal candidates by using creative sourcing methods (internal and external) for an assigned area/region. This position will also assess the staffing needs and provide on-going strategy to find future teammates for Brown & Brown and our Wholesale Division, Bridge Specialty.   

 

How You Will Contribute: 

  • Serves as a subject matter expert in the Wholesale/Excess & Surplus arena for recruiting candidates within an assigned area/region by maintaining awareness of market salaries and benefits of local competitors and identifying staffing trends.   

  • Partners with hiring team leader to determine staffing needs and ensure understanding of the requirements and expectations for those needs.  

  • Works closely with other Regional Team Resources teammates to facilitate a smooth onboarding process for new teammates.  

  • Follows up with candidates and hiring team leaders to ensure updated information on the interview process status. 

  • Develops creative recruitment strategies to ensure high visibility and attract qualified candidates.  

  • Leverages resources to recruit the highest caliber candidates through online social networking and job boards, community involvement, career and job fairs, professional networking, internal referrals, and local media sources.  

  • Develops network of candidates and maintains an internal database of all qualified candidates.  

  • Screens resumes, administers the appropriate assessments and reference/background checks, suggests recommendations for hire (or not hire), and assists in the delivery of employment offers for both exempt and non-exempt position openings within an assigned area/region.  

  • Assists with internal hiring efforts by assessing teammates for different or more senior positions. 

  • Develops and maintains an excellent relationship with internal team leaders and external clients to ensure achievement of staffing goals. 

  • Works with hiring team leaders to ensure compliance with all federal and state laws and regulations. 

  • Manages resumes and applications according to Brown & Brown retention policy. 

 

Skills & Experience to Be Successful: 

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college, or university in Human Resources or closely related discipline required.   

  • 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience providing the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities. 

  • 3-5 years of more of recruiting experience in either a corporate setting or placement firm.  

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with attention to detail.

Pay Range

90000 - 100000 Annual

The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
