Insurance Coverage Attorney - Los Angeles, California, United States - Remote

Direct Counsel is seeking an Insurance Coverage Attorney for a full-service and leading defense litigation law firm with more than 1100 attorneys, across 44 offices across the United States. The firm ranks among the top 200 law firms identified by The American Lawyer and 53rd in The National Law Journal's survey of the nation's largest law firm.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school
• Admitted to practice in the State of California
• 1+ years coverage/coverage litigation experience
• Experience in areas of insurance coverage including drafting coverage opinions in one or more insurance lines (CGL, property, professional liability, cyber, intellectual property, etc.)
• Experience in either or both third-party and first-party claims
• Coverage analysis and writing experience
• Superior analytical skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities

• Work closely with other attorneys and Partners on insurance coverage/coverage litigation matters
• Investigate claims and draft coverage opinion letters
• In coverage litigation matters, draft pleadings, motions, and handle discovery
• Provide clients with insurance coverage advice on a variety of subjects
• Communicate with clients and draft reports to clients

The annualized salary range for this position is $110,000 to $160,000.
