Instructional Designer

What does a successful Instructional Designer do at Fiserv?
You will support the knowledge, skills, and productivity of our associates by designing and developing training programs and content based on business needs. These materials will encompass classroom and online courseware, job aids, presentations, facilitator guides, assessments, multimedia, and more. You will create both technical and non-technical content, primarily related to the products, systems, and interaction skills of contact center associates.

What you will do:

• Design and develop learning materials and collateral, including job aids, reference materials, and facilitator guides for at least one line of business.

• Practice the ADDIE/Agile model of beginning-to-end learning solution development.

• Incorporate proven adult learning principles into all development and delivery activities.

• Deliver and train learning material to facilitators.

• Act as a learning and development consultant to the business, keeping training materials up to date.

• Assist with continuous improvement of the Learning & Knowledge Solutions organization by recommending process improvements and curriculum enhancements.

• Build relationships with internal partners and stakeholders, including Supervisors, Managers, and Team Leaders.
 

What you will need to have:

• 2 + years experience in design and development.

• 1+ years of collaboration and basic project management skills.

• 1+ years experience in designing and developing learning materials and collateral for various learning programs in a contact center or customer service environment.

• 1+ years proficiency with design tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud and Articulate 360.
 

What would be great to have:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

• Experience in consulting within a learning and development context.

• Familiarity with best practices in instructional design and training delivery.

• Proactive approach in staying current with instructional design processes and procedures.

• Certification and application in the ADDIE or similar design methodology – Agile or SAM.

• This is a full-time, direct-hire position, and no contract options for unsolicited agency submissions will be considered.

Salary Range:

$44,700.00-$62,200.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in Maryland. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ. Certain Positions are Commissions eligible.
