Your role at Baxter

This position will be responsible for Software Maintenance Agreement renewals across the Baxter portfolio, collaborating with sales, contracting, and customer success teams, as needed.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software maintenance services and the ability to optimally communicate their value to clients.
What you'll be doing
Serve as the primary contact for a specified US geographic territory, working with the contract administration team to prepare and deliver timely renewal proposals, to meet renewal targets.
Initiate renewal conversations with key stakeholders, presenting software maintenance services capabilities in a clear and concise manner.
Understand customer requirements and identify opportunities for upgraded service solutions that meet their needs.
Review redlines and collaborate with internal contracting teams on contract negotiations and Terms & Conditions requests.
Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships (both internal and external).
Maintain sales activity records and forecasts in company’s CRM system (Salesforce.com).
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer happiness and retention.
What you'll bring
Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, sales, or in a healthcare-related area, or equivalent experience.
Experience in contract development is a plus.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively.
Strong interpersonal and time management skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities.
Experience with SalesForce.com is a plus.
We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all our employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. To that end, this position has a base salary range of $52,800 to $80,000 plus commission target. The above range represents the expected base salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic/office location.
