Constant's Infrastructure Operations team is seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Operations Manager to lead and manage daily operations. The successful candidate will ensure the stability, security, and scalability of our infrastructure services while leading a team of engineers to build and maintain our global platform. Our team's mission is to provide best-in-class global infrastructure to support our cloud, bare metal, and GPU/AI/ML product lines. What to expect:

Leadership & Team Management:

  • Recruit, lead, mentor, and develop a team of Infrastructure Operations Engineers.
  • Supervise daily operations of the infrastructure team, ensuring prompt response to incidents and service requests.
  • Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and innovation within the team.

Project Management:

  • Spearhead physical infrastructure projects, including upgrades, migrations, and new implementations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of infrastructure initiatives with business goals.
  • Provide senior management with regular updates on infrastructure performance, projects, and key metrics.

Physical Infrastructure Management:

  • Ensure the integrity, security, and redundancy of critical physical infrastructure components, including but not limited to servers, storage, networks, and data centers.
  • Develop and implement strategies for the installation, maintenance, redundancy, and tracking of physical infrastructure.

Operational Excellence:

  • Develop and implement operational standards, policies, and procedures to ensure optimal service uptime and performance.
  • Collaborate with Development, Network, and Operations teams to integrate new hardware and support their physical infrastructure requirements.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective action plans for physical infrastructure-related incidents.

Our ideal candidate will have: 

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure operations (implementation & design) is required, with at least 3 of those years in a leadership role.
  • A proven track record of successfully leading large-scale data center projects from conception to completion.
  • In-depth understanding of server hardware and networking technologies, and expert knowledge of data center best practices, industry standards, and technologies.
  • Linux experience is required.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

 

Compensation

$105,000 - $120,000 + variable bonus

This salary can vary based on location, years of experience, background and skill set.
