Infrastructure Build Engineer

Description
The Build Engineer role at Emerald is a crucial role that ensures efficient and reliable deployment of infrastructure, applications and services on the Azure Platform using DevOps best practice.Location: We perform at our best when we feel trusted and are able to choose an approach to working that suits us best, which is why we are a remote-first company. Day to day we’ll trust you to:
- Write, maintain and execute Azure DevOps pipelines and supporting scripts to automate builds tasks and release processes.
- Efficiently manage and monitor Azure cloud resources by implementing best-practice cloud management techniques to maintain optimal performance.
- Work within the Infrastructure Team to manage, monitor, maintain and protect Emeralds Azure Infrastructure estate
- Work closely with and support the developer squads, attending sprints with an Agile mindset and assist with trouble shooting
- Work with Azure Integration Services including Logic Apps, Data Factory and Event Grid - you will maintain, update and release code changes to the Production environment using DevOps tools and practices
- Implement monitors, alerts, and dashboards to track the performance and health of the integrations, the build and release pipelines and the underlying infrastructure.
- Automate tasks and manage resources, using your experience in scripting languages including Powershell and Azure CLI (azd).
