Information Technologies Product Owner III - Digital and Technology Partners - Remote

The Product Owner – III will help with the aggressive schedule of the Stratajazz implementation at multiple sites: MSH, MSM, MSW, MSBI, MSB, ISSM, and MSQ. The person will help with ownership of different modules of Strata Jazz, spanning from overall configuration to rollout. This person will own the platform, and the expectation is for this person to be the Subject Matter Expert supporting the applications with a high degree of quality and SLA. This role will ensure the day-to-day operational activities are running as expected, integrations are working, resolving incidents, managing updates, performing configurations, and performing root cause analysis. Work with Software Partners to understand roadmaps and release management. They also engage with the business areas within their functional domain to support operational business events and any associated application changes. Has implemented and owned Stratajazz in the past.
- Provides design, execution, deployment, and application support for Stratajazz to ensure the day-to-day operational activities are running as expected.
- Manage integrations between different systems and ensure the smooth functioning of integrations
- Manage the Operational Services provided by 3rd party vendors, including monitoring operational metrics and SLAs, facilitating service reviews with the business/IT stakeholders, and coordinating escalations where needed.
- Acts as a liaison among stakeholders (business partners, IT team, service providers) in delivering the Application Support. Lead communication with internal staff and 3rd party service providers as required to resolve issues.
- Continually looks for opportunities to refine operational procedures to ensure support is provided consistently with as few errors as possible.
- Ensures ongoing Application and Vendor compliance
- Partner with the business in supporting operational changes to the application portfolio driven by business events, process improvements, bug fixes, or software releases
- Engages with the IT business partner to ensure IT projects being delivered are done in a supportable manner, that operational procedures are defined/updated prior to the production deployment, and that proper knowledge transition occurs to the application support team
- Continually monitors software releases (SaaS as well as installed software) to assess the changes, define the impacts, and plan appropriately for any regression testing (validation impact where applicable), business/user communications, training, and any operational impacts associated with the changes
- Stays abreast of IT services best practices.
- Ensure SOPs, WIs are adhered to in the day-to-day operations
- Regression testing of applications as required
- Escalating issues with external vendors as required
Education:
Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
Experience:
- Twelve years of related experience, In-depth knowledge of associated technology areas that could impact area of responsibility; healthcare technology experience preferred.
- 5+ years of Stratajazz
- 10 years of experience and expertise in Forecasting, Planning and Cost Accounting is a must
- Provide technical expertise to conduct specific performance or functional tests associated with resolving issues regarding Stratajazz.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills required.
- Proven record of working with Senior Business Leaders in developing technology roadmaps and strategies.
- Successful track record in delivering IT solutions on time and on budget.
- Demonstrated successful working relationships with IT and Business Partners.
- Exceptional customer service orientation and collaboration skills.
- Extensive experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Good Project management skills, planning and organization skills desired.
Compensation Statement
The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for this role is $103,000.00 - $198,065.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
