Salary: $75,000 base (DOE) + uncapped commissions (1st year OTE: $100,000)

Industrial Manufacturing Sales (50% Travel/50% WFH; $100k OTE) Description

Our client, a leader in manufacturing and distribution, is seeking an experienced Industrial Manufacturing Sales to join their expanding team. In this role, you’ll deliver engineered wear solutions to existing clients, while identifying new markets and growing the customer base. While the territory spans several states, it offers unlimited opportunities for growth and sales, with travel to areas full of untapped potential. Customer visits can be planned for one to two weeks at a time, and when not traveling, you’ll enjoy the flexibility of working from home. Monthly travel to the St. Louis headquarters for on-site meetings is also required. Ideal candidates will have experience in industries like grain, asphalt, concrete, roofing, or related fields involving industrial wear, erosion, or corrosion. A strong technical background in engineering is a significant advantage for communicating effectively with plant managers and engineers and closing deals efficiently. Approximately 70% of your time will focus on nurturing existing relationships, with ample opportunities to expand into industries like grain and cement. You’ll thrive in this role if you’re motivated, technically knowledgeable, comfortable in a heavy industrial setting, and skilled at building customer relationships. Industrial Manufacturing Sales (50% Travel/50% WFH; $100k OTE) Responsibilities

•    Manage assigned territory and meet sales targets
•    Identify and connect with key decision-makers to generate new business opportunities
•    Attend in-person and virtual meetings with customers and prospects
•    Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers in the territory
•    Keep sales records updated and accurate
•    Monitor competitors and gather market intelligence
•    Collaborate with customers to assess their requirements and provide tailored solutions  
•    Represent the company at trade shows and industry events
•    Leverage customer referrals to expand the sales pipeline
•    Gather and share application details while performing basic measurement techniques
•    Guide customers through technical aspects of products in an accessible and engaging way  
•    Provide territory and account updates during sales meetings
•    Participate in company-led technical training, including travel with team members

Industrial Manufacturing Sales (50% Travel/50% WFH; $100k OTE) Qualifications

•    Bachelor’s Degree required 
•    3+ years of experience selling to industrial manufacturing companies required 
•    5+ years of outside sales experience required 
•    Knowledge of CRM and ERP systems required
•    Willingness to travel 50% of the time required 
•    Comfortability working in a heavy industrial environment required
