POSITION SUMMARY
The Imagery Analyst Operations SME shall be experienced in the capability for image analysts to exploit/create full motion video and wide area motion imagery intelligence products for the Air Force, Army, Navy, and Marines in support of Geographical Combatant Commander's intelligence requirements. With this experience, they will support the activities associated with identifying new capabilities, training on the new capabilities, testing and evaluating the systems within the lab environment, traveling to the operational sites to ensure the system performs as intended and providing familiarization training for site personnel.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Familiar with current ISR platforms, concepts of employment, and associated workflows, and be prepared to recommend efficiencies where applicable.
- Work with C2ISR multifunctional teams to evaluate new capabilities or products from an operator’s perspective and provide feedback to the Lead Engineer.
- Work with operators to understand and document their workflows to support baseline test activities.
- Work with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to ensure operators get products that meet their requirements.
- Maintain all workflow documentation and ensure that configuration management processes are employed.
- Travel to integration lab to support TEMs and system operational tests and evaluation.
- Travel to sites for system integration support, operational tests and evaluation, and operator familiarization training.
- Capture information to fill operator unsatisfied needs, new feature opportunities, or system enhancements.
EDUCATION/TRAINING
- Operations Intelligence Course is preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree (in Intelligence Studies) is preferred.
- Candidates without a degree but with military training / education in imagery analysis and 9 to 11 years of hands-on experience will be considered.
EXPERIENCE
- Experienced in the capability for image analysts to exploit/create full motion video and wide area motion imagery intelligence products for the Air Force, Army, Navy, and Marines in support of Geographical Combatant Commander's intelligence requirements.
- Experience training system applications and operations for individuals or groups.
SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Ability to work as a team as well as independently.
- Communication and writing skills and the ability to document technical workflows.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Able to lift 40 lbs. and support system installations and de-installations as necessary.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Working indoors in an office or home office environment.
- This is a REMOTE position that will involve travel to various locations within the US and overseas depending upon business needs.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be a US Citizen.
- TS/SCI clearance with current SSBI.
- Must possess a valid and unrestricted driver’s license.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment and random drug screening.
- Able to travel for up to 3 weeks at a time, not expected to exceed 15% travel.
Salary Range: $90K to $110K
