ICF Incorporated, LLC: IT Business Analyst (multiple positions) – Reston, VA

DUTIES: Support all aspects of the software development cycle including requirements, design, testing, and delivery of energy efficiency tracking and reporting tools. Work with stakeholders of IT systems to define system requirements and design approach. Develop an understanding of client processes and procedures and assist with making improvements relative to technology. Work with a team of senior technologists to deliver solutions for clients. Support users through training and providing one-on-one technical assistance. Troubleshoot issues within our proprietary software systems to ensure a good customer experience and accurate data collection and reporting. Mentor fellow team members and participate in shadowing and knowledge shares to train new team members. Lead weekly status update calls with stakeholders to provide progress updates, answer questions, delegate tickets and troubleshoot issues. Communicate across different departments and lines of business. Contribute to a positive team environment.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and 3 years of experience in project implementation, operations, and business systems OR Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and 1 year of experience in project implementation, operations, and business systems.

Prior experience must also include 1 year of experience with each of the following:

• Experience in the development of standard system documentation, testing software, tracking issues and working with developers to ensure that requirements are being met;
• MS Office products: excel, Visio, Project, SharePoint and PowerPoint;
• Experience in the development of standard documentation, including requirements specifications, use cases, design specifications, test plans and test scripts and other supporting system documentation;
• Experience with project management systems: JIRA, Confluence, Smartsheet; and,
• Development of effective process documentation of complex IT system integrations.

Demonstrated knowledge* of writing basic SQL, HTML, CSS scripts and code.

*Knowledge may be demonstrated through education, training and/or experience.

Position eligible for up to 100% remote work. Travel required up to 1 week per year to company HQ in Reston, VA.

There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is: $100,069 - $115,069.
