Base Salary: $150,000-$175,000 + Profit Sharing

[HYBRID] Controller (cost accounting exp. req.) Description 

Our client, a manufacturing company with a global footprint, is looking for a Controller to join their team in Westchester County, NY. You’ll have the best of both worlds in this role, the stability of a larger company with a track record of generational success coupled with the flexibility and growth-mindset of a smaller company. This position lives at the intersection of tactical execution and long-term strategic planning. About 70% of your time will be spent in a hands-on capacity supporting month-end closing, GL reconciliation, and financial reporting. You’ll have a strong foundation and support from their seasoned A/P and A/R Specialists who you’ll be overseeing. Although you will benefit from a tenured team, they’re looking for a seasoned accounting professional who can just as easily pivot from evaluating a P&L statement to rolling up their sleeves and doing transactions themselves. [HYBRID] Controller (cost accounting exp. req.) Responsibilities

•    Oversee Accounting Team (3) ensuring accuracy and compliance 
•    Manage daily accounting operations while supporting overall strategic direction 
•    Evaluate accounts payable and accounts receivable activities including collections 
•    Collect, monitor, and analyze financial information, investigating variances 
•    Assess business operations creating sales forecasts for future income and costs
•    Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliation and closing procedures
•    Create financial statements, reports, and presentations 
•    Monitor and manage budgets, forecasts, and long-term projections 
•    Liaise with an outsourced firm by coordinating audits and reviewing taxes  
•    Participate in weekly leadership meetings and recommend process improvements  

[HYBRID] Controller (cost accounting exp. req.) Qualifications  

•    Bachelor’s degree required 
•    2+ years of people leadership experience required 
•    High-level accounting experience (FP&A, budgeting, compliance, etc.) required
•    Tech savvy with strong Excel skills including pivot tables required 
•    Manufacturing background with familiarity in cost accounting required
