Location: Lexington, KY (fully remote) 

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Note: This position will be required to occasionally attend in-person meetings and events within BCN Regional Offices.

About the role: 

The HR Recruiter is responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to recruitment of applicants for all clinical and non-clinical positions with Bluegrass Care Navigators (BCN).  This position will source and recruit a diverse pool of qualified applicants for vacant positions within Bluegrass Care Navigators. The HR Recruiter may review resumes and/or applications of candidates, organize and keep track of candidate information, schedule interviews, and serve on interview teams (as needed), and act as a liaison between hiring managers and the candidate during the recruitment process. This position will provide expertise and guidance to hiring managers in all human resource functions related to recruitment including best practices, communication, and implementation of related BCN policies and procedures as well as federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Maintains accurate and timely documentation of records in order to be in compliance with federal and state laws and regulations, Joint Commission regulations, and Bluegrass Care Navigators’ Corporate Compliance plan. This position may assist with recruitment events such as job fairs and will require some job-related travel.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, preferred. 
  • Four years of recruitment experience; Healthcare recruiting or industry experience, preferred.   
  • Human Resources (HR) and/or Recruiting certification, preferred. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and time management skills. 
  • Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment of various job types. 
  • Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable Human Resources hiring and recruitment. 
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional reports and documents. 
  • Ability to respond to common inquires, regulatory agencies, or members of the health care community. 
  • Demonstrated knowledge of appropriate skills for communicating with all team members and management staff.  Ability to effectively present information to a group and communicate with healthcare professionals. 
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as statistical analysis, fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. 
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. 
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnish in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. 
  • Ability to work a variety of computer programs, including but not limited to,  Microsoft Office, Human Resources Information System (HRIS), applicant tracking, and sourcing software. Experience with SharePoint, a plus.
  • Must have ability to perform work of a detailed nature and avoid error. Possess diplomacy and tact in dealing with clients and team members both by phone and in person, and ability to adapt to fluctuating situations. Must be able to work independently of on-site supervision and accept supervision and follow instructions.
  • Must be assertive, have problem solving skills, and be self-directed.
  • Must be a licensed driver with an automobile in good working order, that is insured in accordance with state and/or organization requirements, with personal auto liability insurance in compliance the state insurance laws governing liability, property damage, and bodily injury.
  • Team members will be expected to comply with Bluegrass Care Navigators (BCN) Employee Health, infectious disease, and vaccination policies.
