Essential Functions:
- Complete new hire onboarding
○ Administer new hire background checks
○ Serve as the point of contact for new hires
○ Enter new hires' information in HRIS, completely and accurately ○ Present new hire orientation
○ Complete Forms I-9, veries I-9 documentation, and ensures
compliance with USCIS
- HRIS Coordination
○ Maintain accurate employee records
○ Accurately process employee changes - salary, job title, status, etc. ○ Create transfer/promotion oer letters
○ Assign and track company-required trainings
○ Various audits - training status, I-9 compliance, complete prole information,
○ Wage Acknowledgment forms, etc.
- Work with HR team to plan and execute employee engagement initiatives
- Contribute to and manager HR projects and initiatives, including employee engagement activities, policy updates, and process improvements
Qualifications:
Required (Education/Experiences/Competencies):
- 1-2 years in an admin or entry-level HR role
Preferred “Nice to haves” but not essential:
- Paylocity experience or exposure
- Ability to work EST hours
Fair work deserves fair wages. At Valera, we value this role at between $25-$30 with the potential for an annual performance bonus.
