Key Human Services, a subsidiary of Keystone Human Services, is currently seeking a full time Human Resources Consultant to join our team of professionals in making a positive difference in the lives of our neighbors and the community.
The Human Resources Consultant is responsible for implementing strategies that contribute to the organizational success in selecting, engaging and developing employees, reducing costs, improving performance, and ultimately enhancing the experiences of the people we serve. The position assists operational leadership and the Human Resources Manager in identifying HR related needs in the assigned region or agency, works with the Human Resources team (includes HR Directors, Recruitment, Benefits, and Administrative Services) to respond to identified needs, and ensures excellence and consistency in related practices across Keystone Human Services.
Job Details/Benefits:
- Full time, Exempt position
- Hybrid remote position, working remotely and out of the Southington and Rocky Hill offices
- $55,000 - $60,000 per year

Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Three years of experience working in Human Resources
- Knowledge and understanding of the various Human Resource related facets, including employee relations, performance management, change management, recruitment, benefits, and compliance with state and federal labor laws and regulations
- Strong employee relations experience, including coaching, counseling, and conflict management
- Ability to communicate both orally and in writing and to be able to read, interpret and apply written information
- Intermediate computer skills, ability to use and learn Human Resources Information Systems and other web-based systems
- Valid driver’s license and daily access to privately maintained and insured vehicle
- Successful completion of the pre-employment process, including motor vehicle record and criminal background checks
