Position Summary

Analyst, Benefits
The Huron Benefits team provides expertise, management and compliance for the wide variety of benefits programs offered to Huron employees in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Switzerland and Singapore. As one of the fastest growing consulting firms, our benefits team plays a vital role in supporting Huron’s people experience, offering robust and meaningful benefits programs with a strong focus on holistic employee well-being. Our collaborative team structure is designed to provide both a quality benefits package and employee experience to our fast-paced employee population.
Based on current needs, the role is needed to support health and welfare administration in the U.S. and Canada. Experience with Workday benefits and payroll is preferred. Experience in Switzerland and the U.K. is a plus.
This position is remote and can be based in the U.S. or Canada. The role will report to the Health and Welfare Benefits Manager.

Qualifications

Position Expectations:
•    Support various aspects of our U.S. and Canada health, welfare and wellbeing programs including process documentation, policy updates, data management and training development.
•    Assist Benefits Manager with Canada renewal activities including employee communications, content development and enrollment process.
•    Responsible for ongoing administration of group benefit plan in Canada including managing new hire enrollments and maintaining records in internal and external systems 
•    Support vendor relationships including scheduling, communications, integration error reporting and process documentation
•    Ability to manage multiple priorities and demonstrate flexibility to adapt to shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment  
•    Proven ability to work collaboratively across team members and departments         
•    Respond to employee escalations, HR, and employee inquiries regarding these programs
•    Support with annual compliance filings
•    Assist with ad hoc data requests and special projects 
•    Other benefits projects and duties in Switzerland and the U.K., as needed

Preferred Skills:
•    Strong technical skills, including Workday, is desirable
•    Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills
•    Ability to identify process improvements to achieve efficiencies and team success.
•    Huron requires a bachelor’s degree in a field related to this position or equivalent work experience  
•    Human Resources-related experience specifically with managing global employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance with IRS and DOL rules and regulations

    The estimated base salary range for this job is $55,000 CAD - $75,000 CAD.  The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel.

    This job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron’s pay for performance philosophy.  Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $59,400 CAD - $84,000 CAD. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future.
