Human Resource Generalist

SalesLabX is seeking an HR Generalist with experience in small to midsize startups looking to scale. The ideal candidate is proactive, positive, passionate about building a strong organization, and comfortable working 100% remote. They will need to work independently with minimal supervision to create and document People Ops processes, manage employment records, ensure legal compliance, and conduct new team member orientation. Responsibilities:
● Improve and build upon existing HR policies and processes, recommending proactive measures to Senior Leadership as needed to help us accomplish our long term goals
● Process required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and full tax and legal compliance
● Lead the administration of benefits and wellness plans, including enrollments, changes, and terminations
● Create employment contracts and manage team member records
● Facilitate onboarding efforts for new teammates, ensuring an exceptional new team member experience in order to set everyone up for success on day one
● Checking the org’s P.O. Box & managing snail mail
● Manage the org’s equipment inventory in central Austin and ship equipment to team members as needed
Requirements:
● Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
● 3+ years of HR experience or relevant work experience.
● Must be local to Austin, TX area
● Must be able to manage in-person errands in Austin for mail and inventory
● Extremely detail, process, and results oriented
● Working understanding of human resource principles, best practices, and procedures
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills
● Exceptional problem solving, time management, and organizational skills
● Ability to work independently, execute multiple tasks simultaneously, and cut through ambiguity
Experience:
● Human Resources: 3-5 years experience required

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $60,000 - $85,000 per year
COVID-19 considerations: We are a fully remote organization at this time, with plans for a hybrid option to be offered in the Austin area in the near future.
