Position Overview
This role is remote.
Vantage is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented HRIS Specialist to join our People & Culture team. As an HRIS Specialist, you will play a critical role in the day-to-day administration and maintenance of our People systems, with a focus on optimizing and supporting our HRIS (Workday). You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and security of People data, as well as providing technical support and data analysis to help inform our People & Culture strategies and decisions. This role requires a strong understanding of P&C processes, systems, reporting, and data management, along with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Essential Job Functions
Data Management and Reporting:
- Design and implement audit procedures to ensure data integrity, compliance with policies, and alignment with organizational goals.
- Conduct regular system audits to identify and resolve discrepancies, enhancing the reliability of HRIS data.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize reports, dashboards, and metrics to support P&C and business objectives.
- Collaborate with P&C and other departments to analyze data and generate insights that inform decision-making.
- Assist in the preparation of data for internal and external audits.
HRIS Maintenance and Support:
- Administer and maintain the global HRIS (Workday) to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security.
- Provide day-to-day technical support for system users, troubleshooting issues and resolving system-related problems.
- Assist with the configuration, testing, and implementation of system updates and enhancements.
System Optimization:
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and workflows through system enhancements and automation.
- Seek out opportunities to implement process improvements and optimize system functionality.
- Provide input and recommendations for system configuration tailored to meet business needs.
User Training and Documentation:
- Develop and deliver training materials, ensuring the end users are knowledgeable and comfortable using the system.
- Create and maintain user guides, process documentation, and standard operating procedures for HRIS functions.
- Serve as a point of contact for HRIS-related inquiries and provide ongoing support and guidance to users.
Compliance and Data Security:
- Ensure that HRIS and data management practices comply with company policies, legal requirements, and data privacy regulations.
- Monitor system access and security settings to protect sensitive people data.
Project Support:
- Assist with HRIS-related projects, including system implementations, upgrades, and integrations with other business systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on special projects, providing HRIS expertise and support as needed.
- Support change management activities by helping to communicate system changes and updates to users.
Additional Duties:
- Handle additional duties as assigned by Management.
Job Requirements
Education/Experience:
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience working with Workday required.
- Experience in HRIS data management, HR support, HR reporting, and analytics.
Skills:
- Strong ability to create advanced reporting in Workday.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Strong analytical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.

- Travel required is expected to be up to 5% but may increase over time as the business evolves.

Additional Details
- Salary Range: $105,000-$115,000 Base + 10% Bonus (this range is based on Colorado market data and may vary in other locations)
- This position is eligible for company benefits including but not limited to medical, dental, and vision coverage, life and AD&D, short and long-term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program that includes company match, and many other additional voluntary benefits.
- Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including your qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
