ICF is seeking a Human Resources Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to provide HR services and support the needs of a growing organization. As an HR Specialist, you will partner with the HR Business Partner team to support key stakeholders in delivering against business objectives.  

 

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Support the implementation and administration of employment policies, communications, procedures, and programs.  
  • Responsible for providing administrative support to HRBP leaders to include but not limited to employee and manager transfers & relocations, status changes, compensation analysis, data reporting, immigration support, and other processing administrative tasks.   
  • Serve as a point of contact for initial intake for employees seeking guidance on all human resource inquiries through a group centralized mailbox.  
  • Assist with the resignation process, conduct exit interviews, and analyze departure trend data.  
  • Assist with the management of ergonomic reasonable accommodation request, remote worker request, conflict of interest submissions and other employee centered processes.  
  • Manage and respond to request for verification of employment. 
  • Assist with supporting the annual performance review cycle.  
  • Initiate the administration of background checks and drug screens for the internal employee population, as required by certain contracts.  
  • Support ICF’s Diversity & Inclusion and employee recognition programs and initiatives.  
  • Participate in the delivery of new hire onboarding sessions.  
  • Collaborate with HR functional areas to leverage knowledge, systems, and processes. Ensure compliance and consistency with HR delivery of programs and practices.  
  • Ensure HR systems are effectively utilized with minimal business disruption and provide feedback and continuous improvement for HR systems effectiveness. Provide feedback and continues improvement ideas for HR systems effectiveness.  
  • Reporting, tracking, and auditing of various projects, programs and compliance needs.  
  • Assist and support new and changing Corporate and HR initiatives and programs.  
  • Work with other HR Specialists to identify approaches to work that are efficient, consistent across ICF, and uses existing technology platforms.  
  • Participate in special projects and other tasks as required.  

 

Basic Qualifications:  

  • 1+ year of experience supporting clients or business partners in the areas of administration, human resources, or related field. 
  • High school diploma or equivalent degree 

   

Preferred Skills/Experience:  

  • PHR certification.  
  • 2+ year of HR experience utilizing basic HR practices and disciplines, including talent management, performance management and general support.    
  • Experience with Workday.  
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training or work experience.  
  • Proven ability as an effective team member on virtual teams and ability to successfully support remote clients.  

 

Professional Skills:  

  • High proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.  
  • Proficiency in problem solving skills with the ability to analyze situations, identify existing or potential problems, and recommend solutions.  
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization as required.  
  • Team player with the ability to work in a high demand, fast-paced environment with diverse, geographically dispersed clients.  
  • Sound business ethics and judgment, including the protection of proprietary and confidential information.  
  • Outstanding interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.  
  • Ability to independently handle multiple tasks and assignments.  
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to effectively prioritize work.  
  • Ability to apply detailed knowledge of organizational/company procedures to make independent decisions and serve as a credible resource for our clients.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:

$39,435.00 - $67,040.00
