HR M&A Integration Lead

About the team
We are seeking a human resources, mergers and acquisitions, or project management professional to join our HR Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) team as an HR M&A Integration Lead. While assisting throughout the M&A lifecycle, this role will support current and new transactions and focus primarily on long-term integration efforts post-close of a deal and support building out the M&A integration capabilities and function further. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and possess a strong foundation in human resources, project management, stakeholder engagement, and data management. They should be adept at building relationships across all levels of the organization and demonstrate a high level of curiosity and eagerness to learn.About the role
Project Management:
Manage concurrent deals and multiple integration tracks both post deals and within larger ongoing transactions.
Maintain forward momentum and progress through detailed planning and execution on integrated or integrating populations while new transactions take place.
Develop and maintain deal-specific project plans and ensure timely progress updates.
Assist with HR due diligence, integration, separation, and stand-up activities globally.
Stakeholder Management:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Corporate Development, Finance, Tax, IT, Legal, and other Shared Service teams.
Deliver internal presentations to ensure stakeholders are aligned on deal milestones and integration planning.
Partner with virtual and extended HR teams to ensure consistent delivery of M&A workstream plans across regions.
HR Integration and Employee Experience:
Support employee integration initiatives, including onboarding, extended job architecture review, benefits integration, and employee communications.
Design and implement employee-facing programs to enhance engagement and integration.
Consult, evaluate and optimize HR processes to address gaps and drive improvements.
Create and implement employee engagement initiatives to integrate talent, address retention risks, and promote alignment with Zillow’s core values and leadership expectations.
Data Management and Analysis:
Oversee strategic data project plans that align with specific deal requirements.
Manage and analyze extensive employee data sets using Excel and Google Sheets.
Develop and deliver standard and custom reports, queries, and metrics to generate actionable insights.
Conduct trend analysis and propose recommendations for improvements or program enhancements.
Who you are
Skills/Experience:
Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.
Experience with HR technology platforms such as Workday HCM is a plus.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Basic understanding of M&A in HR is desirable but not required.
Characteristics/Traits:
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and project planning/execution.
Flexibility in scheduling to meet transaction needs with short turnaround
Ability to manage ambiguity and work well under pressure.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
High level of curiosity and eagerness to learn.
Ability to develop effective relationships across all levels of the organization.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
2-5+ years of experience in human resources, mergers and acquisitions, or project management.
Additional Information:
This is a full-time position Travel may be required up to 20-25% of the time.
