HR Generalist (Hybrid Remote) - Columbia, MD

Salary: $55,000 - 60,000/yearThis position allows for 2-3 days per week remote / work from home after training. We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our team and support our growing workforce. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of HR experience, preferably in a SaaS or tech-related industry. As an HR Generalist, you will play a key role in various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and HR compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
  • Assist in developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and programs to support employee engagement and retention.
  • Handle employee relations issues and provide guidance to employees and managers on HR-related matters.
  • Administer benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and communication with employees and benefits providers.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation in compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
  • Coordinate employee training and development initiatives to support career growth and skill enhancement.
  • Assist in conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback to employees and managers.
  • Stay up-to-date with HR trends, best practices, and legal requirements to ensure compliance and effectiveness of HR programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in HR roles, preferably in a SaaS or tech-related company.
  • Knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and MS Office Suite.
