We are now offering a unique part-time HR Advisor opportunity. 21 hours per week Tuesday to Friday 12:30 till 17:30 

Our HR Advisors are dedicated to delivering professional, proactive, and confidential guidance to both employees and business stakeholders, aligning with company policy and UK&I employment legislation. They play a crucial role in safeguarding our employees and mitigating business risks.

This fully remote position allows the successful HR Advisor to be instrumental in delivering employee relations guidance and developing and implementing HR policies across our workforce of approximately 4,000 employees in the UK&I.

Job Description

  • Thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment where organisation and managing multiple caseloads are essential.
  • Utilise your up-to-date knowledge of employee law and legislation to support the business in all employee relations matters, in line with HR policies and procedures.
  • Manage your own caseloads from start to finish, handling a wide range of complexities.
  • Provide support and guidance to business stakeholders with HR best practices and legislative advice on cases raised.
  • Virtually attend and represent the HR function in confidential business meetings, such as disciplinary, grievance, and general employee relations issues.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and help develop direct stakeholders through best practices and regular feedback.
  • Communicate effectively with HR colleagues to ensure we find the best solutions for all people matters.

Qualifications

  • You're well-versed in advising on various areas, including employee relations, disciplinary actions, grievances, performance issues, absence, and restructures.
  • You have a knack for quickly building effective working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels, offering a trusted HR Advisory service.
  • Planning and prioritising your caseload comes naturally to you, ensuring an efficient HR service for the business.
  • You're confident in handling confidential and sensitive information, including delivering disciplinary outcomes and other HR-related matters.
  • You're comfortable challenging situations to ensure stakeholders receive guidance aligned with UK&I employment law and company HR policies.
  • You've managed HR caseloads from start to finish, ensuring thoroughness throughout each step.
  • While not essential, having experience liaising with trade unions and participating in tribunals would be a plus.
